Mastering Abilities

I posted a sketch of this yesterday I think to Instagram and decided to finish it today; my exams should be over now so I just wanna punch out some personal art before I get to people waiting for commissions and the ELUSIVE EGG BATCH I KEEP TALKING ABOUT!! XD I also wanna do the "Meet the artist" meme, I really do, but other things like this keep appearing from under my hands. And I wanna do Trico art as well. Too few hands I've got.

So yeah, I haven't drawn a pic of this guy in a while! Haven't really felt like doing anything bigger with him, or I didn't really have any decent ideas either, but here he is~ 

You know, it really bothers me how some people seem to treat the Spyro... not really the fandom itself, or maybe yeah that comes along with it, but mostly the style lately. I know that some are just joking, but it makes me hashtag triggered.. to see them talking crap and kicking dirt on the "so original Spyro style that every Spyro artist uses". I mean, what's up with that? For many people Spyro's been the thing that got them into dragons in the first place, like in my case, and he's been with me whole my life, it's something I grew up with and will always love. Some people get out of the fandom and suddenly seem to hate everything connected to that; I mean it's okay to get out of a fandom or something like that for whatever reason, but it's not ok to shit over the style, people or thing  in general or degrade them just because suddenly it's stupid/childish/not to their likings. 
Many people's style developed from the Spyro one, yeah, but that's because it's something we love or used to love, and everyone has their own style, and just because they're refusing to see what's original about it only because they see SPYRO then that doesn't really give anyone the right to say it's bad.

oof sorry I'm rambling and this turned into a rant. It's just something that's been bothering me for a while. Never mind-
